If you receive the message "OLE Object Cannot Be Opened" while working in ProgeCAD, the issue is usually related to temporary cache files or drawings that contain external references (Xrefs). The problem may occur intermittently and can affect embedded objects such as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, images, and other OLE content.
This issue commonly appears in drawings that use external references (Xrefs). Even if the drawing has been opened and saved several times, the error may still occur because of a corrupted or outdated cache file associated with the drawing.
If deleting the .vbi file does not resolve the issue, Murari Software Solutions can help diagnose problems related to OLE objects, Xrefs, corrupted drawings, and ProgeCAD installation. Visit our Contact Us page to get expert assistance.
